Think Truth

John 8:32 - And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

What do you do when negative thoughts continually enter your mind – when all you think is, God doesn’t want me. I’m a hopeless failure. He will never answer my prayers. Understand, when this happens these are false, destructive messages, it’s likely you are under attack by the enemy. He knows what depresses you and will twist your circumstances to undermine your security in Christ.

This is the time to remember that the enemy is “the father of lies” (John 8:44). What he says may appear to be true because it coincides with what your eyes see, and ears hear. But don’t give in to these attacks. These demoralizing messages are false and do not consider what God is doing in the unseen. So, reject what the enemy tells you and immediately fill your mind with the truth of Scripture.

What is true about you? The Heavenly Father loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 33:3). He enables you to accomplish all He calls you to do (2 Corinthians 3:5). And He always answers when you call (Jeremiah 33:3). So, wait on God and trust Him to help you.
