Two Paths, Two Destinations

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."  Matthew 7: 13-14

Advertisers know that we're more likely to buy a product if they can convince us that everyone else uses it. "If everyone else is using it, then it must be good, and I ought to buy it" --or so they hope we'll say to ourselves.

And, on a far more serious matter, this is what Satan hopes you will say to yourself, "Look at the way most people are living," he whispers in our ears. "They're having a good time--enjoying life, living for themselves, absorbed in the moment, not bothering about God or eternity. Follow them! That's the path to real life!" But it is a lie. Jesus warned that the world's way will only lead to destruction and Hell.

Jesus calls us to take another path--His path. Yes, it may be harder, and far fewer take it. But it alone offers us the true peace and joy that can only come from knowing God. And Jesus' path alone leads to eternal life and Heaven. On which path are you? Don't let another day go by without Christ.
