God Never Fails
Psalm 77:11 - I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
We all have times that are difficult, trials or storms in our lives that cause us to question what is going on. But we can’t let those times define who we are in Christ. He has promised us in Hebrews 13:5 - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
God has given us His Word and in the Scriptures He gives us example after example of how He turned a seeming defeat into victory. He sees what we cannot. We learn in Proverbs 24:16 - For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again:
Sir Winston Churchill was quoted as saying, “Continuous effort- not strength or intelligence – is the key to unlocking our potential.” We should not rest on our victories; neither should we get bogged down by our defeats. Even when we fall or fail there are lessons to be learned. Thomas Edison failed many times inventing the light bulb, but he would say I learned another way that doesn’t work, until he found what did work.
You too will encounter ups and downs in life. It is encouraging to read the Word of God and learn that God is always there for us. He was with Daniel in the den of lions, He was with Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace, and He was with Jonah, even as Jonah was trying to run away from what God had called him to do.
He will never fail you, no matter how many times you may fail.
