Seeing the Unseen

2 Corinthians 4:18 - While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We have been studying the Book of Exodus in our Wednesday night Bible study and prayer meeting. We have learned the children of Israel had one experience after another that they couldn’t see how they were going to make it, but God made a way in each situation.

They stood at the Red Sea with the Egyptian army coming for them to carry them back into slavery. There was nowhere to go, but God made a way. He parted the sea and they crossed on dry ground with a wall of water on each side of them. God saw what they couldn’t see.

After they crossed the Red Sea they went three days journey into the desert and needed water. When they came to Marah they found water, but it was bitter, they couldn’t drink it. But God, had a tree. He told Moses to cut the tree and cast it in the water and the water was made sweet. God saw what they couldn’t see.

God sent manna from heaven and water from a rock as they journeyed. The children of Israel couldn’t see, but God made a way.

Whatever you may be facing today, God will make a way. It may be a lot different that the way we think God should work, but God’s way is always the best way. Trust Him today!
