The Only Spiritual Reality

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.  John 1:18

 

Many today sense there must be something more to life than material things, and they are searching for a deeper spiritual reality. Often, however, their search takes them down paths that will not lead them to the living God.

If you know people like that, urge them to put aside whatever prejudices they may have against Jesus Christ and encourage them to seek God with an open heart and mind. God hasn't left us in the dark: He has revealed Himself to us through His Word and His Son.

Remember: God took upon Himself human flesh and became a man---a fact that should stagger our imagination. If we want to know what God is like, we only need to look at Jesus, for He was God in human flesh.

Pray for people you know who are seeking God, that they won't be deceived or led down a path that will only take them away from God. And ask God to use you to point them to Jesus' love and truth. Only Christ can meet the deepest hunger of our souls.
