Depend on your Helper

 

John 6:63 - It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 

You will never outgrow the need to depend upon the Holy Spirit. In fact, the more mature you grow in your faith, the more you will need to rely on His indwelling presence.

I say this to you because He is who you need for all you face. If you have been depending on your own resources, wisdom, or strength, it is no wonder you become tired, overwhelmed, and frustrated, possibly even feeling somewhat hopeless. What is before you is often greater than you can handle so you will learn to rely on Him.

It is the Holy Spirit who guides you on the right path, convicts you of sin, reminds you of God’s truth, and teaches you to apply Scripture to your life. But even more importantly, it is the Holy Spirit who works to conform you the image of Christ and who empowers you to serve Him and others.

This is why the lesson all believers must learn is how to experience and live daily in the power of the Holy Spirit. No matter where you are in your journey with Jesus, this is the key to being a truly successful, fulfilled, productive, and joyful Christian.
