Hidden Treasures
2 Timothy 2:20 - But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
2 Timothy 2:21 - If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
First, wrong friends will hide your treasure.
2 Corinthians 6:14-17 - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
Second, pride will diminish your treasure.
Proverbs 11:2 - When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
Third, words can decrease your treasure.
Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

My friend, it would be sad that our God given treasures are hidden or decreased because of an undisciplined life.
Wrong Friends, Pride, Uncontrolled tongue.
We will never reach our God-given potential until these things are removed from our lives. Our value, our gift is needed in the work of the LORD; don’t waste it.
