Is There No King in Thee?



Micah 4:9 - Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee?

 

As believers in the finished work of Christ, there is king in each one of us!  That word king in Micah 4:9 means royalty! We have royalty within each one of us. Being a member of the Royal Family means we are responsible to carry out the work of the King.

 

God reminds us here in times of trials, storms, troubles, there is king in us. The Creator of the Universe is in control of our lives, He has our best interest in mind!

 

  1. When we are tired, ask the King for help!

 

Jesus said in Matthew 11:29, Take my yoke upon you, find rest for your souls!

 

When we are tired Jesus is there to carry our loads and our burdens.



  1. When we are tried, Tell it to the King!

 

Job 23:10 says, When He hath tried me, I shall come forth as Gold. God’s got a plan for each one of our lives and He is in the process of preparing each one of us for that plan.

 

When we are tried, Jesus is there assuring us that we can endure.

 

  1. When we are triumphant, Rejoice and thank our King!

 

II Corinthians 2:14, Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place. There is victory in Jesus!

 

I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

 

Let the King of Kings rule and reign in your life!
