Who Will Volunteer?

Isaiah 6:8 - Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

God is looking for a person who knows about His plan and is willing to allow God to use him to accomplish His will!

What does a volunteer need?

  1. Commitment – to love God wholeheartedly and teach others about His loving care. Men, women, boys, and girls that realize they have an obligation because of the commands of Christ to commit themselves to the spreading of the Gospel.
  2. Sacrifice – In giving up those pleasures and habits that interfere with being the godly examples to those around us or interfere with raising godly children and grandchildren. We know very little of old fashioned sacrifice of our own wants and needs to supply the needs of others.
  3. Courage – to admit we are wrong and ask for forgiveness when we make mistakes. Our family, who already knows our weaknesses, will see Christ’s power as we adjust our behavior.
  4. Perseverance – to stay the course and not lose heart, because it takes time for our children, grandchildren, and others to develop godly character.

What can I do to be the godly person God created me to be?

Pray for yourself and your children and your brothers and sisters in Christ. Pray for the lost and for those that have grown cold toward the things of God.

Isaiah’s response was, “Send ME! What is your response?
